The Vans Lax brings the field to the classic Old Skool. Challenged with using canvas as the upper material, the goal was to reinvent a classic into performance footwear that highlights the properties of natural materials. Patterned from an existing Old Skool, the new Vans Lax was created through 2D pattern making and careful sewing. The final product: a cleat built for the field while carrying over classic Vans details.
