The Nike Free Run line was a game-changer for the minimalist runner that needed both a lightweight and stylish shoe. This project took an old pair of shoes and explored each material and construction used in its creation.

Through disassembly and evaluation, materials were also costed and the outsole was sawed in order to create the linework for the tooling. What was left was not only a great exploration of each stitch but also came away with a better understanding of the materials and construction of one of the most influential running shoes still in production.
